Our Programs

Since its inception, Beulah’s Bunch has operated with minimal funding, relying on personal contributions while steadily expanding. In year one, we served 2 campers, growing to 3 in 2025, and aim to reach 10 campers in 2026. Programs take youth beyond their immediate surroundings, empowers them to dream bigger, offers exposure to financial literacy (e.g., visiting Wall Street), cultural learning (e.g., tasting African native foods), leadership training, and immersive adventures.

Beulah’s Bunch offers free, enriching programs for underserved youth, including sports, arts & crafts, nature exploration, and hands-on workshops that build confidence, leadership, and real-world skills beyond the classroom.

We're breaking down the barriers that underserved youth face by providing free opportunities to explore, create, and grow. From hands-on learning to unforgettable field trips, we give kids the chance to have fun while building confidence, curiosity, and lifelong memories.

Beulah’s Bunch is dedicated to tearing down the walls that keep underserved children from experiencing the joy of play and adventure. By offering a free, hands-on summer camp filled with games, nature exploration, and creative workshops, we give every child the chance to have fun, discover new passions, and learn valuable life skills—no matter their background.

At Beulah’s Bunch, sports and games are more than just play—they’re a powerful tool for building confidence, teamwork, and lifelong resilience.

Our high-energy sessions blend teamwork, friendly competition, and skill-building drills—everything from soccer scrimmages to obstacle-course challenges—designed to spark joy and independence. Underserved youth often face limited access to enriching, out-of-classroom experiences that foster confidence, independence, and career exploration.

Studies from the National Summer Learning Association highlight that low-income youth miss out on critical enrichment over the summer, affecting long-term success; Harvard’s Graduate School of Education emphasizes that experiential learning enhances critical thinking, leadership skills, and social mobility; and the Brookings Institution reports that early exposure to diverse environments increases career readiness and future opportunities.

Beulah’s Bunch bridges this gap, ensuring kids don’t just learn about the world, but experience it firsthand—one exhilarating game at a time.

Arts & Crafts

At Beulah’s Bunch, Arts & Crafts isn’t just about glue and glitter—it’s a gateway to imagination, expression, and empowerment. In our Creative Corner, kids dive into hands-on projects like painting, sculpture, DIY design ,collage-making and clay modeling, gaining more than artistic skills—that ignite imagination and teach problem-solving through creative play, they’re building focus, confidence, and pride in what they create.

Research from the Arts Education Partnership reveals that students who participate in arts programs are four times more likely to be recognized for academic excellence and demonstrate stronger collaboration skills. The National Endowment for the Arts reports that arts education nurtures the creative thinking and adaptability employers value most—qualities that set young people up for future success. Meanwhile, findings published in the Journal of Early Childhood Research show that engaging in art activities boosts emotional regulation, helping children manage stress and build resilience.

At Beulah’s Bunch, Art Explorations doesn’t just fill an afternoon—it lays the foundation for confident, resourceful leaders who aren’t afraid to color outside the lines. Beulah’s Bunch provides a vibrant, supportive space where kids can dream, create, and shine. Every brushstroke and handmade project is a step toward confidence, communication, and lifelong learning.

Nature Exploration

At Beulah’s Bunch, Nature Exploration is all about stepping outside the classroom and into the wonder of the natural world. Whether it’s hiking wooded trails, observing wildlife, gardening, or collecting leaves for a science project, our campers learn to see the outdoors as a place of curiosity, calm, and discovery.

Spending time in nature has been proven to reduce stress, boost focus, and improve emotional well-being in children. It also encourages environmental awareness, critical thinking, and a sense of responsibility. For many underserved youth, opportunities to safely explore nature are rare—but the benefits are lifelong.

Beulah’s Bunch gives kids the chance to connect with the earth, ask questions, and learn through direct experience. In the process, they gain confidence, spark new interests, and build a lasting appreciation for the world around them—one adventure at a time. At Beulah’s Bunch, we bridge the gap by bringing nature to every child—turning parks, woods, and waterways into vibrant learning labs. Here, kids don’t just observe the world; they become active explorers, build teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for our planet.
